Terms and conditions

These terms apply to website design and development services provided by Wish Xperts, Flat 2, 120 Halifax Old Road, Huddersfield HD2 2RW ("we", "us"). By asking us to start work you agree to them. Please read them alongside any written quote.

1. Pricing

Our professional website service is a flat £200 in pounds sterling. Custom work is priced in a written quote that states what is included. We will not add charges without your agreement. Domain names, hosting and third party services are paid to their providers and are not part of our fee unless we say so in writing.

2. Review before payment

We will build your website and send you a private link so you can review it. You do not pay until you have seen the finished website. We will make reasonable changes you ask for during this review. Requests that go beyond the original brief will be quoted before we do them.

3. Payment

Once you approve the website, we will invoice the agreed amount. Payment is due before the website is launched on your domain, unless we agree otherwise in writing. If you decide not to proceed, you owe us nothing and we will not launch or publish the website.

4. What we need from you

You agree to give us accurate information and content in good time. You confirm you have the right to use the text, images and logos you send us. Delays in receiving content may delay delivery.

5. Ownership

After payment in full, you own the finished website content created for you. We may keep the right to reuse general techniques, code patterns and layouts that are not specific to your business. We will not share your confidential information.

6. Showing your work

We will only show your website or your name publicly, for example on our own website, with your permission.

7. Third party services

We are not responsible for outages or changes at third party providers such as domain registrars, hosts or payment providers.

8. Liability

We will take reasonable care to deliver services with reasonable skill. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits.

9. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
